This piece was made to commemorate the moon landing for the Contemporary Glass Society fundraising exhibition, CELESTIAL BODIES. The piece is transformed by light as though glowing from within, mimicking the beautiful qualities of our satellite, the moon. A tiny lunar module has alighted on the surface, embraced by the lunar goddess after its long journey through the void.
